On Oct. 11, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled a trial for a 21-year-old Baltimore man charged with attempted murder for February 2023.
Dashawn Raynard Carter is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, use of a firearm during a felony violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, possession of a firearm, having a loaded handgun on his person, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm in connection with an incident on Feb. 16.
Carter was represented by defense attorney Robert Ness.
Carter’s trial is scheduled for Feb. 8, 2023. It is expected to last four days.
