A 34-year-old man charged with first-degree murder has rejected the prosecutor’s plea of 50 years on June 10 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn

Thermon Green is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, use of a firearm during a violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a veichle, and possesion of a firearm with a felony conviction in connection to an incident on Nov. 5, 2021. 

Green and his defense attorney Martin Cohen, a stand-in for Roland Harris, rejected the plea of life suspending all but 50 years with five years probation for first degree murder, and 20 years, the first five years without parole, for use of a firearm during a violent crime.  

Green’s trial is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2023. It is expected to last for five days.
