The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the late evening on June 4. 

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2400 block of Washington Blvd around 10:43 p.m. to disperse a large fight as the crowd cleared, officers heard a single gunshot, where they found a 31-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the upper body. 

Officers immediately rendered aid, applying a chest seal to the victim until medics arrived and transported the male to an area hospital for treatment.
