A 35-year-old Baltimore woman pleaded guilty to attempted murder, accepting a plea deal on May 9 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey M. Geller.
Theresa Pompey is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, and use of a firearm during a violent crime in relation to an incident which occured on March 14, 2021.
Judge Geller listened as the prosecutor presented a plea of 25 years, suspending all but four years for first-degree assault with two years of supervised probation. Pompey was also sentenced to three years for possession of a firearm, which will be served concurrently.
Pompey and her defense attorney Michael Cooper accepted the plea on May 9.
