A 16-year-old teenager has been arrested for the murder of a 30-year-old man on April 25.

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of a 16-year-old juvenile, exactly nine days after the incident on the 1700 block of Thames Street around 12:57 a.m. for a shooting, where they found 30-year-old Marco Nunez suffering from a gunshot wound as he attempted to break up an altercation.

Detectives were ultimately able to identify the shooter and obtain an arrest warrant.

Following his arrest, on May 4 the juvenile was taken to Central Booking, where he will be charged with first-degree murder along with other related charges.

Homicide detectives are adamant about the fact that they would not have been able to solve this case, were it not for cooperation of members of the community.
