31-Year-Old Baltimore Man Has Trial Scheduled in August

A 31-year-old Baltimore man involved in a non-fatal shooting rejected a plea of 10 years on May 2 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.

Davon Little is charged with armed robbery, robbery, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, theft less than $100, use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, possession of firearms, having a handgun on his person, two counts of having a handgun in a vehicle and discharging firearms in connection to an incident on Oct. 2, 2021.

Judge Phinn listened as the prosecutor presented a plea of 10 years for armed robbery; 10 years with the first five years without parole for use of a firearm during a violent crime; and five years for having a handgun on his person. The charges are set to run concurrently.

Under the plea agreement, the defendant must register as a gun offender.

Little and his defense attorney, Karyn Meriwether, rejected the plea.

Little’s trial is scheduled for Aug. 11 and is expected to last two days.
