27-Year-Old Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

A 27-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 53-year-old man on April 16.

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Travis Fauntleroy, 27, exactly six days after the incident on the 900 block of Leadenhall Street around 10:57 a.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 53-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital. 

Through the course of their investigation, Southern District Shooting detectives were able to identify a suspect.

Following his arrest on April 22, Fauntleroy was charged with attempted first-degree Murder and his currently being held without bail.
