The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning of Feb. 22.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 3800 block of Belvedere Avenue at approximately 1:51 a.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 62-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the left thigh.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking on the 5200 block of Cordelia Avenue when he heard gunshots. The victim started to run and realized that he was shot.
