A 29-year-old man accused of attempted murder had all charges dropped on Jan. 30 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
The Baltimore resident is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun on his person, and discharging firearms in connection to an incident on June 17, 2020.
During reception court on Monday, the prosecution chose to enter a nolle pros, dropping all charges, which closes the case.
The defendant was represented by defense attorney, Howard Cardin.
According to CBS Baltimore, on June 17, 2020, officers were called to the 1700 block of Aisquith Street for reports of shots being fired. They found a 35-year-old woman suffering from a non-fatal gunshot to the leg.
