Craig Carter is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm during a violent crime, having a handgun in a vehicle, and possession of a firearm with felony conviction in connection to an incident on May 17, 2021.
During reception court on Thursday, Judge Schiffer listened as the prosecutor presented a plea of life suspending all but 65 years for first-degree murder and five years supervised probation for use of a firearm in a violent crime.
