Two codefendants charged with shooting a 49-year-old man in May received plea offers on Dec. 20 at Baltimore City Circuit Court, only one of which was rejected.

Cockeysville, Md. resident Keisha Clark, 45, and Baltimore resident Tyrelle Fields, 37, are facing charges of attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, robbery, and theft as well as several firearm-related charges.

Baltimore Witness previously reported that Baltimore Police Department officers were called to the 700 block of N. Paca Street around 2 p.m. on May 5 and found the victim with a gunshot wound to his leg and arm.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

On Monday, the prosecution offered Clark a plea of life, suspending all but 15 years, and five years probation for attempted first-degree murder; and a concurrent five years without parole for use of a handgun in committing a crime.

Defense attorney Andrea Jaskulsky said she had not yet relayed the offer to her client.

Fields received a lengthier offer of life, suspending all but 25 years, and five years probation for attempted first-degree murder; and a concurrent five years without parole for use of a handgun while committing a crime.

Defense attorney Michael Cooper said the offer was relayed and rejected.

A trial date for the pair was then scheduled for July 25, 2022.
