A Baltimore resident accused of attempted murder was offered a plea on Oct. 29 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn

Allen Brown, 29, is charged with conspiracy of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy of first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a violent crime, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun within 100 yards, having a handgun on his person, and discharging a gun witin the city. 

He was charged in connection to an incident on Aug. 3, 2019. 

Judge Phinn listened as the prosecution presented a plea of 25 years for first-degree attempted murder. 

Brown and his defense attorney, Brandon Mead, rejected the plea. 

Brown’s trial has been scheduled for June 21, 2022.
