Single-Car Crash Linked to Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting over the weekend when a man was shot while driving on Reisterstown Road.

According to a news release, medics with the Baltimore County Fire Department were called to a single-vehicle accident on Sept. 18 around 1 a.m. on the 2900 block of Reisterstown Road. As medics were taking the driver to a hospital, they saw the 37-year-old man had a gunshot wound to his face.

The victim is currently in stable condition.

Police said they believe the victim was driving his car when he was shot, which caused him to crash.
