Detectives Investigate Early Morning Shooting

Baltimore Police Department homicide detectives are investigating an early morning shooting near Patterson Park on Aug. 31, leaving one injured and another dead.

According to a press release, officers were called to the 1700 block of Patterson Park around 6:50 a.m. for a “Shot Spotter” alert. When they arrived, officers found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance; however, the woman died from her injuries.
