A scheduled pretrial conference in the homicide case against Baltimore resident Chance Taylor was not heard during reception court at the Baltimore City Circuit Court on July 20.
Taylor, 22, allegedly shot and killed 18-year-old Gary Williams on April 1, 2020, according to CBS Baltimore. Williams walked into a local hospital to get treatment for his gunshot wounds, but died shortly after.
Taylor is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and firearm use in a violent crime.
He is represented by defense attorney Michael Tomko.
The case is scheduled for trial on Aug. 24.
