The Baltimore Police Department notified the public on July 1 about an arrest made in a non-fatal shooting more than one month ago.
According to a press release, officers arrested Corey Snead on the 1400 block of Central Avenue on May 29 for shooting a 60-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man in the same location two days before.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Detectives determined that the woman got caught in the crossfire of two groups of men shooting at each other.
While being taken into custody, Snead, 18, was armed with a handgun. He is being held without bail in central booking.
Snead faces two counts of first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment. He is also charged with firearm use in a violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, and discharging a firearm in the city.
