A shooting on N. Lucerne Street during the evening of May 9 left one victim in a serious condition and another injured.
Around 4:50 p.m. on May 9, a press release states, Southeast District officers went to the 400 block of N. Lucerne Street in response to a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man who was shot in his chest and a 24-year-old woman who was shot in her leg.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where the man is in serious but stable condition. The woman’s injury was non-life threatening, police said.
