Baltimore Central District homicide detectives are investigating a drive-by shooting of two women on the 600 block N. Fremont Avenue during the afternoon that killed one and wounded the other.
Around 2:40 p.m. on May 3, two women were parked in a vehicle when an unknown individual pulled up in a vehicle next to them and opened fire without warning, according to a press release. Western District officers were called to the scene for a shot spotter alert.
Police said one of the women drove to the hospital where Central District officers were called. One of the women was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second woman’s condition is currently unknown.
