The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced that a shooting reported in late March has been reclassified as justified and removed from the non-fatal shooting count.
On March 24, at approximately 9:56 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Preliminary information revealed the victim was shot in the 3000 block of S. Hanover Street, where a call for a shooting was first received.
