Man Shot on Gay Street in Downtown Baltimore, Expected to Survive

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Central District.

On Nov. 5, at approximately 9:07 p.m., a male victim walked into police headquarters suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

Officers identified the victim as 30 years old. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting took place in the unit block of N. Gay Street.

Central District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
