Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting in East Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Eastern District.

On Oct. 3, at approximately 3:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a report of a gunshot victim seeking treatment. Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old male with gunshot wounds. The victim is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting may have occurred on the 1500 block of Homestead Street.

Eastern District detectives are investigating this incident
