The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.

On Sept. 14, at approximately 2:35 a.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Garrison Boulevard to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was in the area and invited an unidentified individual into his vehicle, and an argument occurred. The victim asked the individual to get out of his vehicle, which she did. A short time later, the same individual returned to the vehicle and shot at the victim.

Northwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
