Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge John A. Howard sentenced a defendant involved in a homicide to 10 years in prison on June 25.
Tyrell White, 21, was initially charged with first-degree murder and accessory after the fact for the murder of Sean Neal Malik Brown, 21. The fatal stabbing occurred on May 20, 2023, on the 2700 block of N. Longwood Street. White pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact in January.
For his involvement in the crime, White was ultimately sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment with the possibility of parole. There were no other conditions applied to his sentence.
White’s co-defendant, 21-year-old Cahari Fergunson, was convicted of first-degree murder on June 2 for stabbing Brown in his heart, left lung, liver, diaphragm and neck.
White admitted to disposing of Brown’s backpack and credit card after Ferguson confessed to him.
