Police Investigate Fatal Cherry Hill Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southern District.

On May 31, at approximately 9:59 a.m., a Southern District officer was on patrol conducting business checks when they discharged in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road.

The officer responded to the area and observed a 42-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
