A domestic dispute on Jan. 18 turned deadly when Shanelle Reed, 37, allegedly shot and killed her father, Brian, 59, on the 5600 block of Groveland Avenue.
Reed was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and firearm use in a felony violent crime the same day.
She was offered a plea deal of 50 years with 5 years of supervised provision for the homicide and 20 years with no parole for firearms count.
According to Maryland law, Reed’s case must be brought before trial by Aug. 27.
However, defense counsel Thomas Morrow gained her verbal consent to set a later date.
Baltimore City Circuil Court Judge Copeland scheduled a four day trial beginning on Sept. 25.
