Teen Shot in Leg on Lyndale Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting in the Eastern District.

On May 4, at approximately 11:16 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital regarding a shooting victim seeking treatment.

Officers observed a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim informed officers he was shot in the 3700 block of Lyndale Avenue.

Update: On May 28, BPD reclassified this case as self-inflicted. It has been removed from the 2025 non-fatal shooting count.
