Defendants Kalim Satterfield, 26, and Darrell Morton, 37, will face a jury trial together on July 28 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland.
The duo is accused in the murder of Dominic DeAngelo Reid, 37, on Aug. 17, 2024, on the 1000 block of Madison Avenue. Reid died in a nearby hospital on Aug. 25, 2024.
According to court documents, witnesses, who were interviewed by the Baltimore Police Department (BPD), claimed Satterfield was the one who shot Reid, while Morton brought Satterfield to and from the incident.
Morton and Satterfield are charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime, conspiracy to use firearm in a felony violent crime, and handgun on person. Satterfield has an additional charge of firearm possession of felony conviction.
Satterfield and Morton rejected plea deals on March 14, including a 15 year plea for handgun on person.
