No Mental Observation Hearing For Murder Defendant

Christopher Straham was set to appear before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gale E. Rasin for a mental health observation hearing on March 5, but, for unexplained reasons. his case was not called.

Straham, 28, is charged with first-degree murder, possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, armed robbery, and attempted armed robbery in connection to the 2016 murder of 73-year-old Andras Horvath.

Straham, who is represented by defense attorney Romel Showell, is set to appear in court May 13 for a four-day jury trial.
