The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Western District.

On March 7, at approximately 12:40 a.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital regarding two shooting victims seeking treatment.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old male and a 35-year-old woman, both suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot while in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue.

Western District shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
