On March 4, at approximately 8:19 p.m., Central District officers responded to the 1000 block of McAleer Court for a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, they entered a residence and found a 38-year-old male and a 31-year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead on scene.
The female victim was later identified as Shakeira Cooper. The case is currently being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
