Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer sentenced 46-year-old Keith Anderson to life on Feb. 18 in connection to the June 22, 2022 murder of Markeece Jordan, 29.
Anderson also faces a total of 35 concurrent years, the first five without possibility of parole, for firearm use in a felony or violent crime and firearm possession with a previous felony conviction.
Anderson has a history of firearm use and was on probation at the time of the incident. Investigators examined Anderson’s cell phone and found the password matched the incident date.
Jordan was his parents’ oldest son and had three children, ages two, three and six. Judge Schiffer said that she cannot imagine what the victim’s family has been through since the incident.
