On Feb. 12, at approximately 7:49 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the unit block of W. Talbott Street in reference to a discharging.
A few minutes later, officers received a call for a victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound at a local hospital. Once at the hospital, observed a 25-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 3800 block of Leadenhall Street.
Southern District shooting detectives assumed control over the investigation.
