On Feb. 13, at approximately 7:39 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the 3000 block of S. Hanover Street in reference to the discharging of a gun.
Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with multiple gunshot punctures and learned that a victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment. At the hospital, officers observed a 22-year-old male suffering from gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 800 block of Bethune Road.
Southern District shooting detectives assumed control over the investigation.
