Attempted Murder Defendant’s Case Placed on Hold

On Jan. 7, a 22-year-old attempted murder defendant’s case was placed on the stet docket before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Nicole K. Barmore. A case gets that determination if the prosector decides to postpone it indefinitely. In that instance, the defendant must waive his right to a speedy trial and the matter can be reopened during a three year period.

Sean Clayton Lewis Jr., is charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, conspiracy to first-degree murder, first- and second- degree assault, conspiracy to commit first- and -second degree assault, firearm possession, and discharge and use of a firearm felony or violent crime in connection with an incident on April 7, 2024.
