A defendant in a non-fatal shooting accepted a plea agreement before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Yvette M. Bryant on Dec. 9.
Dyrin Harrell, 27, is charged with firearm usage in a felony or violent crime, having a rapid fire trigger activator, having a detached magazine of over 10 rounds, having a handgun on his person and in his vehicle, illegal possession of ammunition, and discharging a gun within Baltimore City. Harrell was arrested April 4 in connection with an April 3 shooting in Liberty Heights.
The prosecution offered five years without possibility of parole and required that Harrell register as a gun offender. Defense attorney Robert D. Cole, Jr. accepted the plea on Harrell’s behalf.
