On Oct. 10, at around 3:53 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 5700 block of Eastern Avenue to investigate a call for a hit and run involving a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle. After striking the 32-year-old male, the vehicle fled the scene. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased later that day.
Crash Team investigators were summoned to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
