Northeast District Shooting Victim Receives Treatment

On Oct. 5, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Northeast District officers were on patrol when they heard discharging near the intersection of Hillen Road and Cold Spring Lane. 

A 21-year-old male flagged down officers and informed them that he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

Preliminary information revealed that the victim was walking on the 1600 block East Cold Spring Lane when he heard gunshots and began to ran. 

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
