Police Investigate Greenmount Avenue Shooting

On Sept. 27, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Northern District patrol officers were patrolling the 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue when they observed an unidentified male lying on the ground. 

Baltimore Police Department officers did a condition check and observed that the 49-year-old male victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.

Update: The victim in this case, Dion Huff, died from his injuries Oct. 5.
