On Sept. 3, at approximately 1:02 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1300 block of Russell Street for reports of a shooting.
Once at the scene, officers observed medics treating an unidentified male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2100. Update: The victim has since been identified as 22-year-old Tyreke Brown.
