A 47-year-old homicide defendant was sentenced to life in prison plus 37 years for a March 2023 homicide in Baltimore City Circuit Court Aug. 15.

Consecutive to his life sentence, Crenshaw will serve 15 consecutive years, the first five years without the possibility of parole, for firearm possession with a felony conviction, 20 years for use of an assault weapon or magazine, the first 10 years without the possibility of parole and another two years for possession of a firearm without a serial number, for a total sentence of life plus 37 years.
