On July 27, at around 12:23 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.
Shortly after, officers received a call for a shooting victim on the 1100 block of North Luzerne Avenue. Officers responded to the location and located a 14-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue.
Southeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
