60-Year-Old Man Shot in Leg on Sumter Avenue

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening on March 21. 

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 3100 block of Sumter Avenue around 7:40 p.m. to investigate a shooting, where they found a 60-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the leg. 

The medics took the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim got into a dispute with a suspect who shot at the victim striking him in the leg.
