The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the afternoon on April 14.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 6200 block of Pennington Avenue around 12:48 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found 52-year-old Daniel Pitts suffering from an apparent gunshot to the head while inside a vehicle.
The medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a road rage incident before he was shot.
