During a bail hearing on Jan. 21, a Baltimore man accused of homicide had his case postponed for three weeks in order to obtain medical records before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jeannie J. Hong.
Robert Douglas, who is represented by defense counsel Koryn High is charged with first-degree murder, carjacking, second-degree assault, car theft, unauthorized removal of property, reckless endangerment, and two counts of failure to stop at a scene in connection to an incident on March 2, 2021.
According to court documents, on the day of the incident, officers were called to the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle for reports of a shooting. On arrival, officers found the victim, Mark James, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Judge Hong agreed to the prosecutor’s request for a postponement in order to obtain the defendant’s medical records.
The 52-year-old defendant’s next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 11.
