A 46-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 29-year-old on Dec. 17, 2021.
The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Michael Harvey, 46, almost nine months after the incident on the 600 block of Laurens Street, where Aaron Adams, 29, was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after succumbing to his injuries.
Through the course of their investigation, Homicide detectives were able to identify a suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.
On September 8, police conducted a car stop for a traffic violation in the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. 46-year-old Michael Harvey was subsequently identified and arrested for the open homicide warrant.
Following his arrest, Harvey was formally charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
