On July 16, 2026, at approximately 7:36 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1300 block of North Carey Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
