40-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot on Leverton St.

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man on Nov. 20.

Around 7 p.m. on Saturday, police said, officers were walking on the 3400 block of E. Baltimore Street and responded to gunfire coming from the 3600 block of Leverton Street. Officers arrived and found the victim with a gunshot wound to his back.

Medics were called and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Witnesses later informed police that they saw a man wearing a black mask and black hoodie in the area at the time of the shooting.
