The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the late morning on April 1.
According to a news release, officers were called to the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and East 33rd Street around 7:04 a.m. to investigate a reported shooting, where they found a 38-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound on the 1200 block of East 36th Street.
The victim was taken to an area hospital.
Northeast district shooting detectives responded and have assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact shooting detectives at (410) 396-2444.
