A Baltimore man accused of a non-fatal shooting rejected a plea of five years without parol on Jan. 13 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Schiffer.
The 36-year-old defendant is charged with possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun in a vehicle, illegal possession of ammo, and discharging firearms in connection to an incident on May 16, 2021.
On Thursday, Judge Schiffer listened as the prosecutor presented a plea of five years without parole for possession of a firearm with a felony conviction.
The defendant and his defense attorney, Robert Ness, rejected the plea.
His trial is scheduled for May 2.
