The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the early morning hours on March 18.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2500 block of East Monument street at approximately 1:08 a.m. for reports of a shooting, where they found a 33-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot to the face.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where he is in stable condition.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in the 500 block of North Curley Street when he was shot by an unidentified male suspect. The victim then fled the location and called the police.
